Short Bio
My name is Hesham Mohamed, and I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Thermal and Fluid Engineering Department at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain. I am also a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie YUFE4Postdoc Research Fellow at the Energy Systems Engineering Department at UC3M. Alongside this, I hold positions as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Aswan University, and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Borg Al-Arab Technological University in Egypt. I earned my Ph.D. in March 2023 through a joint program between Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain. My doctoral research focused on concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) systems, with a particular emphasis on improving their performance through advanced materials and thermal management techniques. Throughout my academic journey, I have published a total of 19 research articles in high-impact Q1–Q2 journals, in addition to contributing to over 15 international conferences held across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, and Singapore.
